Next to stealing other people's abilities, Akashi's Emperor Eye makes the least amount of sense in context.

Oh well. Logic is not the reason as to why we are watching this show in the first place.

"There's no shame in falling down... true shame is to not stand up again!"

"Aah? Of course I won't miss!"

"My blood tastes like Iron."

Haha. Are you kidding? I just said that I am watching this show mainly because how it is unrealistic.

Other than Akashi making people trip out of nowhere, I am loving every moment of their super-powered matches.
In fact, just some time ago, I got together with friends and re-watched a couple of intense games by streaming from a large television.

Myself and I'm pretty sure Torrible have already explained just how much sense Akashi's Emperor Eye actually makes.

Either the first or second episode of the Rakuzan v Shutoku game. To give you the shorthand version it boils down to him being smart, a great basketball player and hyper-observant. His hyper-observance allows him to notice the slightest twitches in muscles, then he can predict the most likely way an opponent will move, then he's skilled enough to pull off a move that will completely through the opponent off balance. All real things just exaggerated just like most other moves in the series...baring Haizaki, and eagle/hawk eye, those are just BS.

Going off of the same principle, I would rule Eagle Eye and Hawk Eye as them being hyper-aware or hyper-observant.

Haizaki's move stealing does not work in context because it is not like the players he is stealing moves from are hyper-observant enough to notice the change in pacing or style purposely made.

Not the same thing, my dude. The manga explains it so much more than the anime, going as far to say that Akashi can see veins pulsate. If we were standing across from one another and you made a tight fist the muscles within your forearm would flex, it's a visual change that someone can see it just isn't a drastic change. If you simply rubbed your fingers together there is still movement in the muscles and tendons within your forearm, it's an even less drastic change but it is still happening, and akashi can see that. It the difference between ordinary and extraordinary.

Nevertheless, it does not negate the reasoning behind Eagle Eye and Hawk Eye.

In the end, we both agree on Haizaki being ridiculous even in comparison.

Yes it is, in the manga that is. Anime fucked up the pacing.

I'd like if people refrain from posting stuff like this from now on, especially when I don't even see the hate or bait. You either explain yourself or you don't post at all.
