I have several Haypigs accessories, they enjoy their circus hidey, kabob, crash mat, their food bowl and I've gotten them some of Haypigs treats and forage from their website, I want their subscription box, however it's quite expensive for shipping to the U.S., so I currently subscribe to Piggie Box, because it's only 5$ to the U.S., more affordable! I love U.k. piggy items, they're different then what you get in the U.S., and in my opinion, better and cheaper, but the shipping cost is SO HIGH! The herd is just BEAUTIFUL, CONGRATS!

Sarah, Really enjoyed this video! I took notes as circumstances have changed and we now have one of the "grandpiggies" living with us indefinitely (we do not own any other piggies). This is a challenge since she is blind, but very sweet and fends very well as long as nothing in the cage is moved. She does not get along with other piggies (they tried!) so getting a friend is not possible. She recognizes my voice and the tapping on the veggie dish and finds her food from sense of smell. She bit me once since I scared her because I accidentally touched her from behind. I hope I am doing all the right things and all of your videos are invaluable. Wish me luck!!

A few other things you can do is: 1. wrap their veggies in newspaper and watch them get their veggies, might need some help as some Piggies are not as good with puzzles as others 2. don't put veggies or pellets into 1 place, scatter feed and hand feed 3. Piggie racers, set up 2 spaces that are the same, can include tunnels, boxes etc and put down veggie(s), put 1 Piggie in both spaces and see which 1 will find and get the veggie(s) quickest
Oh I really enjoyed training Pippin to go 'round and round' Merry never really got it... But we have just brought home Merry's new buddy, his name is Bernie and maybe I can train him to do it as soon as he's settled in. He's a 1yr old Abyssinian and he's totally gorgeous tricolour. So excited to finally have a friend for Merry. 😊😊😊😊❤️ Love seeing all your games for the herd, might have to try the washing line across the cage idea 🤔😁

Better than taping boxes & tubes, I use twine or jute & tie the cardboard together. Just poke holes through the cardboard where needed & poke the twine through. Then I don’t need to worry about them eating tape.

They are so cute and relaxed and playful. Are they with you for long? How long would it take for you to build this trust and did you have piggies that bite you? We got 2 recently for the first time 2 weeks ago. They got into a loving home but they are very scared and one of them bit my 8 years old child while he tried only to pet him in a cage and he is very upset now. We want to keep them ( they are 2 males) and build that trust aswell.

I've read that certain veggies shouldn't be given more than two days a week. Is it true? Do yours have veggies every day? I have a young one, he loves being held but he's still very suspicious of us from time to time. He likes to pop up and look at us while he eats or "popcorns" around. I need to learn the meaning behind the sounds he makes. He's adorable and the prince of the house
i cant be more sad than this i got 2 guineea pigs and whatever i do they just dont want to play with me i even made them i maze from cardboard and they didnt even mode in it ): i dont know what to do anymore i just wish that they would want to play with me
Hi! I have a smaller Guinea pig cage it’s right about a 2x3 cage which is the minimum amount for two piggies I feel really bad for having them in such a small cage but my parents won’t let them have a bigger cage what can I do to help them be happy and healthy in a smaller cage?
Posting in several areas, as I don't know if you'll see this, but my pig suddenly stopped being able to eat his veggie treats and also his favorite Timothy hay heads. He mainly prefers his pellets now. I've done a bit of research and found that their teeth can grow over and occlude the tongue. He really wanted his treats but just couldn't eat them, so we tried chopping his veggies very small, and he immediately was eager and able to eat them. Have you ever seen this? I've read that the vet may have to put them under and file the teeth down (hundreds or $1000 in my area). Someone mentioned even havinf to put the lig down! He's my friend and buddy, five years old, and otherwise is good health. Your thoughts please?

Try feeding them by hand and giving them some hiding spots like those piggy tunnels.
