IMPORTANT MESSAGE: URGENT REQUEST FOR SUPPORT FOR THE CHANNEL FANS BEFORE HAVING TO PUT AN END TO THE PROJECT!
We have been striving to work on this channel (5 Minutes), producing high quality content that is also concise in as little as Minutes. We thought that this could be interesting to learn curated information in a very short period of time, especially given the quick pace of today's world.
However, unfortunately, after 1 year of consistent and patient work and regular posting of at least 1 video every 2 weeks, we have been disappointed to see that the channel has not really taken off on RUclips. With Less than 1,000 subs and as little as 300 views per video, we see no other choice but having to halt and put an end to this project we really loved and enjoyed!
We involved different RUclips experts to help us propagate the knowledge offered by this channel but the results have been modest. We understood that such low traction so far may be due to changes done by RUclips on its ranking algorithms to compete with platforms such as TikTok in entertainment videos (dance, music, fun, cooking, sports...).
Although this is a hypothesis and is definitely not verified, we are unable to pursue this project for more than this past year given that it didn't really achieve its number 1 goal, which was reaching as much people as possible around the world and disseminating knowledge in a compelling way.
We will still be publishing our last 3-4 videos over the next couple months.
We are writing this to ask for your support in case there is anything you can do, such as sharing, liking, posting on other platforms, or contributing to our Patreon page (www.patreon.com/5_minutes).
If not, then no worries, we thank you very much for liking our content and for following it!
    All the best!

Hellenistic Judaism refers to the fusion of Jewish and Greek culture and ideas that occurred during the Hellenistic period, which followed the conquests of Alexander the Great in the 4th century BCE and continued for several centuries thereafter. This period had a significant impact on Jewish thought, culture, and religious practice. Here are some key aspects of Hellenistic Judaism:
    1. Cultural Influence: The spread of Greek culture throughout the Eastern Mediterranean, including the lands where Jewish communities lived, led to the adoption of Greek language, customs, and values among some Jews. This cultural influence is often referred to as Hellenization.
    2. Translation of the Hebrew Bible: One of the most notable developments of Hellenistic Judaism was the translation of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) into Greek. This translation, known as the Septuagint, allowed Greek-speaking Jews and non-Jews to access Jewish scripture and played a significant role in the dissemination of Jewish religious ideas.
    3. Philosophical Syncretism: Some Jewish thinkers during this period sought to reconcile Jewish religious beliefs with Greek philosophy. Philo of Alexandria, a prominent philosopher of this era, attempted to blend Jewish theology with Greek philosophy, particularly the teachings of Plato and Stoicism.
    4. Diaspora Communities: As Jewish communities spread throughout the Hellenistic world, they faced the challenge of maintaining their religious and cultural identity amidst the dominant Greek culture. Synagogues became important centers of Jewish life and worship.
    5. Religious Resistance: Not all Jews embraced Hellenistic culture and ideas. Some resisted Hellenization and clung to traditional Jewish practices and beliefs. The Maccabean Revolt (circa 167-160 BCE) is a notable example of such resistance, resulting in the establishment of an independent Jewish state for a period.
    6. Ethical and Moral Philosophy: Hellenistic Judaism also saw the development of ethical and moral philosophy within the Jewish tradition. Jewish thinkers explored questions of ethics, virtue, and the purpose of life in a Hellenistic context.
Hellenistic Judaism was a complex and dynamic period in Jewish history, marked by a diversity of responses to Greek culture and ideas. While some Jews embraced aspects of Hellenization, others resisted it, and the tension between Jewish tradition and Hellenistic influence continued to shape Jewish thought and identity for centuries to come.

Respectfully, your dancing around a lot of context. While some Jews were willingly adopting Greek culture, many were being wrongfully forced to adopt it and not allowed to keep the Torah and its commandments without consequences of imprisonment, torture, execution, confiscation of property, exile, public humiliation, the list goes on. Brit mila, keeping Shabbat, we’re made illegal. We were forced to eat non kosher foods and to commit idolatry to the Greek idols in our own temple which had been defiled by the invading Syrian Greeks. (Syrians who adopted Hellenistic Greek culture and invaded Israel and forced it’s culture on the people of israel). We had to learn Torah in secret. Look into the origins of a dreidel.
This was a very bad period for the Jews. Not as nice as you make it sound.

They did indeed, for MANY nations and peoples. I am from Ireland and can nearly guarantee that Britain AND France will never admit to the utter madness they created when they created the "state of Israel".
The HOLOCAUST and the endless POGROMS were a EUROPEAN manifestation of hatred and antisemitism.
Europe created a cultural and geographical disaster by transporting hundreds of thousands of EUROPEAN Jews directly into the Middle East, thereby disposessing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their native land.
The United States, with 5 MILLION Jews, is now just as complicit as Britain and France in the present day GENOCIDE we are seeing in Gaza.

Not only that but Christians and Muslims lived peacefully together as well. In 1947 the population of Palestine was approximately 10% Christian, 85% Muslim, 5% Jewish.
Ironically, even the 75,000 Christians were removed, with full support of Christian nations, for Jewish settlers.
It may be the only time in history where a religion removed its own followers for others, and ignored th irony of it all.
Israel is about 1.9% Christian now, the least Christian nation in the free world.

The world's oldest monotheistic religion is generally considered to be Zoroastrianism. It was founded by the prophet Zoroaster (or Zarathustra) in ancient Persia (modern-day Iran) around the 6th century BCE, though some scholars suggest it could have originated as far back as 1200 BCE. Zoroastrianism centers on the worship of Ahura Mazda, the supreme god, and emphasizes the cosmic battle between good and evil.
Zoroastrianism had a significant influence on other major monotheistic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, particularly in concepts like the struggle between good and evil, heaven and hell, and the final judgment. Despite being one of the earliest religions to advocate belief in a single, all-powerful deity, it is much less practiced today, with its followers primarily concentrated in Iran and India (where they are known as Parsis).
Judaism, while older evolved into a monotheistic religion after Zoroastrianism was established.

Monotheism was invented in Egypt in 1367 B.C. when Pharaoh Amenhotep IV (later) Akhenaton, he declared that Aton had replaced Amon and all other gods, effectively creating the world's first monotheism (And Moses was probably an Aton priest).
However his son King Tutankhaton (Tutankhame), reverted back to the old polytheistic religion. Horemheb, a later king, completely rejected Akhenaton's religious beliefs.

FYI: Zoroastrianism, older than Judaism, was the first monotheistic religion.
Each of the major Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Catholicism, Christianity, Islam, Mormonism) were born of violence and war. In actuality, each of their ancient or old proprietary foundational tribalist books (the Jewish Bible, the New Testament, the Quran, the Book of Mormon) represent political manifestos to form a moral fabric and trust for trade, and claims for real estate, back in the days when life was nasty, brutal and short and nights were long, dark and scary.
It's time to cast off the mythological stories, magical thinking, obsessive ritual, organized superstition, institutionalized intolerance and tribalist revanchism.

Zoroaster, also known as Zarathustra, was an ancient Iranian prophet and the founder of “Zoroastrianism.”
He is believed to have lived sometime between the 7th and 6th centuries BCE (501-700 BCE),
though some scholars suggest he may have lived as early as the second millennium BCE13 (1300-1201 BCE).
Zoroaster’s teachings challenged the existing religious practices of his time and introduced the concept of a single god (Monotheism), Ahura Mazda, representing truth and light.
Abraham (Abram) was born in 1960 B.C. and is the father of the Jewish religion. His forefathers were from southern Mesopotamia (in present-day Iraq).
According to the biblical narrative, their deity, Yahweh, led Abraham on a journey to the land of Canaan, which he promised to his children.

to either one for several reasons. Today, the "Jewish people" are not "a single

I’ve always wondered what is the REAL history of the origin of the Hebrew people, which included the Kingdom of Israel (or the “lost 10 tribes”) and Judah. Obviously, the Jewish Scriptures can’t be relied upon as a historical source because it mostly contains ancient myths and legends, with some historical facts. There are different theories as to the actual origin of Judaism, and the one that makes more sense to me is that they were the Hyksos, a group of people who ruled Egypt for a period of time, and then they were expelled, and eventually settled in Canaan. Other than that the origin of the Jews remains a mystery because there are scattered archaeological, and historical evidences.

History and archeology suggests that the israelites have emerged from the canaanites and diverged from them on the basis of religion.
From what I know, the Hyksos (or some of them/a large chunk of them) were themselves canaanites, so I guess you could be right.
I personally think it might explain specifically the origins of what later became the tribe of Levi, that is the main tribe of the exodus story (Moses, Aaron, and Myriam, were of the tribe of levi.)
The rest of the tribes may have never left the land of israel/canaan, and were later joined by the tribe of levi.
Speaking from an entirely secular point of view.

Except we live happy lives, I don't know why Christians have such a problem with us. I would think our existence proves their religion a little bit but a lot of Christians I know don't want us to exist. Like respectfully I don't really care all to much who Jesus is (he may be like the Messiah idk) because its just not really a part of our faith. Being a jew is more than belief it's a whole culture and lifestyle. so comments like this just make me confused like do you all not want us to exist?

💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️Abrahmic religion like Islam and christianity says their is only "ONE GOD" and everything is GOD made.
But pagan religions like Hinduism says that "EVERYTHING IS GOD" so no duality ie " AHAM BRAHMASMI"💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️ie SANATAN DHARMA and it says " we cant distinguish GOD and GOD MADE" so "EVERYTHING IS GOD"
So conclusion is SANATAN DHARMA OR HINDUISM is far more advanced then abrahmic religion💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️💛❤️

Only reason Judaism survived this long is cause of reveleance of its text with christianity and islam. If only there was no christianity and islam, an complete new religion or strict following of paganism it would have died or maybe jews are just very persistant to their text to this day which is also remarkable. How about origins!?
Abraham was born in Ur in Sumeria (Southern Iraq) around 2000 BCE and trekked his way along the Fertile Crescent to Canaan (Israel & Palestine). Many Old Testament fables are based directly on much older Sumerian texts.

      @blusheep2 Год назад

@@RamZar50 I'm referring to the same thing you say. Most scholars today believe that all the ancient Mesopotamian creation stories stem from an even older oral tradition. The Bible doesn't borrow from the Sumerian kings list anymore then the Sumerian kings list borrows from the Bible. They are both borrowing from an ancient oral tradition. Therefore, scholars see Genesis as a polemic, not a borrowing, of these ancient texts.
People often think about the similarities of theses stories, of which there are some. They rarely notice the differences. The old stories of Genesis are vastly different then these other stories and the Gilgamesh story which the Bible is said to be derived from actually predates the flood story in the Gilgamesh epic. There are 5 copies of Gilgamesh spread over hundreds of years. Only the last copy has a flood story in it and that copy post-dates the Genesis flood account so it might be that it borrowed from the Bible but even there, the Epic is said by scholars to be connected, linguistically, to the Atrahasis and not the Bible.

The Israelis often quote the bible that God gave the land of Israel to them as justification for what they are doing in Gaza to which I say: Regarding this video: ruclips.net/video/zhEmFPJLrMo/видео.html Archbishop Jonathan Blake, he speaks well and he's only trying for peace which is a noble cause. But at one point he shoots himself in the foot. Check out timeline 1:17 on the video he says that God and the bible are inanimate, (ie. not living.) Now you would believe that if you were an atheist,
but as a bishop I would have thought he would have believed in a living God.
    Maybe he's lost his faith.
I believe what it says in the Bible, and it says in the Bible that God sold Israel to the Jews. Possibly the British Balfour Declaration of 1917 was based on this. I also believe that God can change his mind (he's not inanimate) if you read the Old testament you will see that he's doing that all the time, and judging his people harshly when they do wrong. It's obvious that they have done wrong with the genocide in Gaza. I think that by changing the borders of Israel and grabbing Palestinian land they've betrayed that trust that God has in them. We will see if He will judge them harshly for this? Because you have been given something, that does not mean it can't be taken away. (ie. freedom taken away
from someone who is put in prison.) Because of their actions and their attitude God will take back the land of Israel from them.
