yes. for me its probably my favorite just because i played ark since the beginning and it was the first dlc, so it was a completely new feeling it was harder, felt new and fresh, had so much cool stuff at this point like the wyverns and their ravine-home (now, today, wyverns are overused in my opinion which makes them feel slightly annoying, but at the point where this dlc came out, it was perfect) - such a good dlc imo - i really hope ark 2 gets dlcs too, with new maps or stuff - but hopefully not directly, since its going to be early access too, so i hope for this og teaser/trailers again with dossiers and creature reveal like in the good old days
i never played ark but i really like how this world looks and has a bunch of free space unlike the main map which just seems to be filled with mountains and so much forest, also it just looks cool when your wearing certain clothes like some outdoor adventurer, do creatures in this map also exist in the normal one? cause i feel like i prefer dragons and those mammals to just dinos

@@skull1161 agreed, but there are unofficial servers with very little lag. playing on one myself. mostly hiding anyway:) I am so bad at pvp, so sneakily have chosen server with not that many players across all maps. pve servers are just to boring after while for me personally. and they much mooore laggy due to millions of bases, traps everywhere, you name it.
I highly recommend taming a horse asap on that map. Its a mobile mortar and pestle, able to harvest tons of cactus sap from the small ones, and it has weight reduction. Also its a fast means of travel. Equus are invaluable on most maps
@@tarus94 Go to the highlands on Ragnarok map, you'll find plenty of horses (maybe a unicorn if lucky), and lots of wild rock carrots. One spot in particular, a old farm ruins, has lots of carrots and potatoes if you want lots faster without looking around so much in the highlands. Or just grow some carrots in large crop plots.
@@tarus94 they can be tamed with mejo berries or simple kibble, though the kibble requires carrots too. If you are patient, try trapping it in a 2x2 trap with 1 high doorways. Equus dont attack the structure, but other dinos might, so best do this in a safe area. Getting it into your trap will be a bit of a hassle since you cannot lure it, but once its in there, you got all the time to hop on and press the feeding button every now and then. On official settings it will take time though

The morelatops is a godsend early tame on this map. They have decent stats and can carry water that fills when it rains and when you take them to a water source.

yeah, cause karkinoses are insane for polymer cause there are so many of them if you just walk on the river from the big lake by the portal spawn you can find like 20-30 of them
On my times of scorched, I have never seen an alpha wyvern immediately respawn after one just got done being killed. That is definitely a bruh moment right there
Please do more of these! Obviously we know it takes time and take as much time as you need as long as more of these bangers are coming out! Best Ark RUclipsr out there.
@@lazyy7461 For me, I will probably just transfer to extinction just for osd and to tame the creatures (like managarmar and gachas and snow owl) not because I like it. I feel like abberation is much better. the corruption on the dinosaurs is a very low resolution maybe even worse than a ps2 textures. and it seems bland and the sunken forest seems like trying to mimmicate abberation but its much worse and its nearly empty with rare creatures spawning. you can't build in 60 percent of the map because corrupted dinosaurs will destroy the base or the meteors/osd drops.. also the bubble of the snow and the desert biome is small.those 2 biomes seems really small and all the biomes don't seems like them meant to be together its like that they were randomly choosing biomes and put them randomly the map doesn't feel complete.the desert biome is small and doesn't have the same vibe of scorched earth its just a worse version of it. the same for the snow biome. gigas mostly spawns at a low level.also the wasteland is not beautiful if you ask me.the sand in it has an off color. I know some people like it .but for me I don't like the map.the only things I like is the new dinosaurs and the osd drop with an army of tek rexes/theri to farm op loot that'ss why I will transfer there from time to time.after I finished genesis 1. also I have to agree with you.scorched earth has only one boss fight without ascension.and I think a lot of people may not like it. but for me its the best as what it is and what it is . is a desert. it doesn't try to be every single map with the biomes but worse like extinction. its a change and it excel at one thing. but surely I prefer abberation than both. and genesis was also amazing even tho it has some impossible frustrating alpha missions (solo) but other than that its beautiful. unique very hard. and the alpha boss is extremly extremly hard solo. sorry for this long comment

Don't know, if Syntac does this meanwhile, but for everyone else spawning in with all the skins but don't like the "mess" in your inventory; Just create a folder in your inventory (and have folder view activated) named "Skins" or what else you like to call it and just put every skin in it. Problem solved!
I started doing that just recently, as opposed to dropping them all. I was just tired of "pretending" i was too cool to put party hats on my Yuty clans and glasses on my Argents
@@GoodWormDoctor the only problem, if you die.. you have to sort them again. thats why i make a folder on start but after you have somewhat of a base, place a large storage box and name it skins or so and put all into it. after that you can deactivate the option that you spawn with them everytime
An easier way is to go into advanced settings and turn off "Give Default Survivor Items". Then you don't get them at all and if you end up needing skins just turn it back on and die

1:02:00 Unmounted Lightning Wyverns can work. We did it multiple times with 2 or 3 people. One person was on a wyvern with all the wyverns on Lowest distance follow and Attack My Target with Special AI attacks on. The others were on Yutyrannuses buffing the Wyverns where possible. We did the fight four times and it worked pretty well.
He actually gave me ideas on taming creatures but if their able to be carried by an Argentavis just pick them up make a box knock them out and tame em that's how I do it
This is the first ARK video I've seen, despite having bought the game on a whim ages ago. I played it once, didn't have a clue what I was doing and quite in about 20 mins. It actually looks awesome, maybe I should give it another go

u need to watch his season 3 of ragnarok, he plays with some great guys and they do some awesome builds in that one! and its fun to see him in that group of guys because they all click well lol if u havent watched it yet! enjoy the content tho its all good lol
Keep in mind this is PC, I used to play Ark on xbox with my partner but the tether distance was horrible and we couldn't do our own things or enter certain areas without issues. So a few years back I got a PC brought an Ark server and we've been playing for nearly 2 years. It's a good game if you like stuff like this that's for sure.
@@deitrickmayer alot of his earlier videos he was part of a group that played new expansions together but the season 3 is just perfect chemisty between him, phlinger, cheese and mindmelt. Scorched earth is my absolute favourite map in ark and that starting cutscene is beautiful

@@lazyy7461 For me, I will probably just transfer to extinction just for osd and to tame the creatures (like managarmar and gachas and snow owl) not because I like it.
I feel like abberation is much better. the corruption on the dinosaurs is a very low resolution maybe even worse than a ps2 textures. and it seems bland and the sunken forest seems like trying to mimmicate abberation but its much worse and its nearly empty with rare creatures spawning. you can't build in 60 percent of the map because corrupted dinosaurs will destroy the base or the meteors/osd drops..
also the bubble of the snow and the desert biome is small.those 2 biomes seems really small and all the biomes don't seems like them meant to be together its like that they were randomly choosing biomes and put them randomly the map doesn't feel complete.the desert biome is small and doesn't have the same vibe of scorched earth its just a worse version of it. the same for the snow biome. gigas mostly spawns at a low level.also the wasteland is not beautiful if you ask me.the sand in it has an off color.
I know some people like it .but for me I don't like the map.the only things I like is the new dinosaurs and the osd drop with an army of tek rexes/theri to farm op loot that'ss why I will transfer there from time to time.after I finished genesis 1.
also I have to agree with you.scorched earth has only one boss fight without ascension.and I think a lot of people may not like it. but for me its the best as what it is and what it is . is a desert. it doesn't try to be every single map with the biomes but worse like extinction. its a change and it excel at one thing. but surely I prefer abberation than both. and genesis was also amazing even tho it has some impossible frustrating alpha missions (solo) but other than that its beautiful. unique very hard. and the alpha boss is extremly extremly hard solo.

Don't know, if Syntac does this meanwhile, but for everyone else spawning in with all the skins but don't like the "mess" in your inventory;
Just create a folder in your inventory (and have folder view activated) named "Skins" or what else you like to call it and just put every skin in it. Problem solved!
I started doing that just recently, as opposed to dropping them all. I was just tired of "pretending" i was too cool to put party hats on my Yuty clans and glasses on my Argents
@@GoodWormDoctor the only problem, if you die.. you have to sort them again. thats why i make a folder on start but after you have somewhat of a base, place a large storage box and name it skins or so and put all into it. after that you can deactivate the option that you spawn with them everytime

An easier way is to go into advanced settings and turn off "Give Default Survivor Items". Then you don't get them at all and if you end up needing skins just turn it back on and die

1:02:00 Unmounted Lightning Wyverns can work. We did it multiple times with 2 or 3 people. One person was on a wyvern with all the wyverns on Lowest distance follow and Attack My Target with Special AI attacks on. The others were on Yutyrannuses buffing the Wyverns where possible. We did the fight four times and it worked pretty well.

He actually gave me ideas on taming creatures but if their able to be carried by an Argentavis just pick them up make a box knock them out and tame em that's how I do it

u need to watch his season 3 of ragnarok, he plays with some great guys and they do some awesome builds in that one! and its fun to see him in that group of guys because they all click well lol if u havent watched it yet! enjoy the content tho its all good lol
Keep in mind this is PC, I used to play Ark on xbox with my partner but the tether distance was horrible and we couldn't do our own things or enter certain areas without issues. So a few years back I got a PC brought an Ark server and we've been playing for nearly 2 years.
It's a good game if you like stuff like this that's for sure.

@@deitrickmayer alot of his earlier videos he was part of a group that played new expansions together but the season 3 is just perfect chemisty between him, phlinger, cheese and mindmelt. Its a great series! All of syntaca series are amazing in my opinion but that particular series i have watched probably 5 times all the way threw lol
