| I always liked Nemu for some reason so it hurts... especially since Mayuri is one of my favorite characters so I liked the pairing with his creation, at least Nemu's sacrifice wasn't for nothing since eating her caused the hand to literally explode by cellular division and infinite body expansion lol. Well at least Mayuri has that Nemu's brain. |

| Very cool episode, I like the fact the entire of it was dedicated to the fight of Mayuri and not just 'a slice of this, a slice of that' and it may mean that it'll happen the same with the second half of Kyoraku and Nanao. Also they animated very well the comeback of -super- Nemu, not censoring the gore but also giving it a sad vibe. The post-ending scene was interesting as well, I was hoping to see the expanded fights not properly showed in the manga, like it happened to the Vollstanding of Uryu etc. If the season is going to have just 13 episodes I suppose ep 11 is about Kyoraku, maybe in ep 12 we will see the defeat of the rebel Quincys with a cool duel of Bazz-B & co. and episode 13 will show the return of Kira etc and the encounter with Miracle and Poison guys, with a cliffhanger of some sort. |

This part always gave me conflicting feelings, in one way I feel like it sucks to have Nemu go out this way so abruptly and brushed off so quickly, but Mayuri does act somewhat human at least for a moment about it until he goes back to his usual self again, which show even he can have fatherly feelings about his creations if he spends enough time with them.
So a good episode that leaves somewhat of a bitter taste in the mouth, but I guess that's just Mayuri as a character which is what makes him one of the most interesting in the series.

| @Ridzaxster Mayuri is likely the most divisive character in the main cast, because he is straight up a mass murderer for both science and pragmatic equilibrium of the Soul Society (see him killing like 20k people in the very first episode of cour 1 because of just that). But yeah, that's what also makes him such a fascinating character to follow, because he is insane, is feared and despised by his allies for the most part, and even then gets the job done in crazy awesome fashion lol |

| Was not expecting a part 2 for the fight, but I'm glad we got it because it did a nice job of rounding out more of Mayuri's personality and made Nemu an actual character for once which is nice. I'm sure Mayuri will use her brain to build an even better Nemu. |
| Wow. This episode made me actually feel bad for Mayuri for a sec. Then he was like, nah, she was imperfect so I’m good. Learning more about Nemu was super interesting as well. Mayuri has definitely been cemented as my favorite character now. (9.5/10) |

| I have always had a feeling that Nemu isn't a normal shinigami from the first time I saw her over 10 years ago in the original anime, she seems more like she was created by Mayuri offering her unconditional loyalty and endless servitude, and sure enough, Nemu, or more accurately Nemuri 7 is the 7th iteration of Mayuri's masterpiece to create synthetic shinigami. It is his own personal dream and aspiration which made Nemu's apparent death have the capacity to affect him even if he himself ultimately moved on from the fact. Crazy how she just dies like that, blown to pieces by a giant fucking hand, literally. She suffered one of the most gruesome death, though she died quickly. However her legacy remains, and the next Nemuri will be born anew. Mayuri deserves the thanks he's been getting throughout this fight with Pernida, he's the scientific GOAT. |
