About purple dragons and the future of FurAffinity

By now most of you have probably heard the unfortunate news. FurAffinity has been around for so long, by internet standards it feels like ancient history. And during all those years, Dragoneer has always been here. I didn't really know him on a personal level, aside from a few brief interactions here on the website, but he seemed like a good guy, and it feels strange to imagine FurAffinity without him. Here's hoping his friends and family will be alright. 💜 💜 💜
I don't know what this means for the future of FurAffinity, but just in case, I do have an account on SoFurry. I've shamefully neglected my gallery there, as I never really had the time and motivation to keep multiple gallery sites up to date. But it seems like a good website and community there, so in a worst case scenario, SoFurry would likely be my first choice as a backup plan.
